Waldhausen Health & Care Cooling gaiter, each

Cold therapies are generally considered to be particularly gentle and effective for acute injuries and as a health-promoting measure. The cooling gaiters from Waldhausen, consisting of multiple separate cooling chambers, ensure optimum regeneration after strenuous exercise and act preventively to keep the ligaments, tendons and joints of the horse"s legs healthy. Thanks to its generous size, it can be used on both the front and hind legs and can be ideally adjusted to the horse"s leg using elasticated Velcro fasteners. Depending on requirements, the gaiter can be used several times a day for periods of 20-30 minutes. Before use, the gaiter should be stored in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours or in the freezer for a shorter period. The horse should not be left unattended during application. This form of cooling also conserves resources and can replace the tried and tested cooling technique with a water hose.
